TRAVEL SPECIALISTS

I’ve been a travel agent since 1987, and with Vista since 1994.  I started cruising in the ‘70s and have sailed on more than 30 ships.  I love Transatlantic cruises the best – pure relaxation.  In my land-based travels I’ve been to least 15 Caribbean islands, Costa Rica, Australia & New Zealand, Thailand, and many places in Europe and North America.  I think my favorite trips were to Iceland & to Costa Rica.  I love to knit and always look for local yarns when I travel.

I am currently enrolled in the Holland America Academy and working toward 5 star agent status. I have been on more than 10 cruises with Holland America . In May  2008 I took an Alaska cruise on Princess, through the Inside Passage and into Tracy Arm. I enjoy booking independent vacations to France and Italy with a focus on small charming inns and hotels. I have vacationed on most Caribbean islands and in Mexico many times. I specialize in family and couples vacations with an emphasis on unique boutique hotels. I am also knowledgeable in travel to India and the Asian subcontinent and have traveled there many times. I have arranged many corporate groups as well as incentive trips.  

I have been with Vista since 1992 and been in travel business since 1986. I am married and have a daughter, aged 13 and love cruising as a family. I am well versed in Florida theme parks. My two all time favorite trips are Mediterranean Cruises and the Pacific Northwest.  I enjoy history, reading, and antique and handmade jewelry. I do arts and crafts and enjoy fitness related activities, and enjoy volunteering in the community.

Spain and Latin America are destinations I love to share with travelers.  I am on Virtuoso’s Spain Specialist team, and have enjoyed three trips to Spain and Portugal with Virtuoso host operators.  I have also completed agent courses to learn about and/or visit Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico and Costa Rica.  Iguassu Falls on the border of Brazil and Argentina is my favorite destination in the world! 

Cruising is another facet of travel which I love to arrange for others and to do myself.  Cruises provide a streamlined, easy and very comfortable way to enjoy a region on a first visit.  I have escorted Virtuoso Voyager Club sailings on Seabourn, Holland America, and Regent cruise lines, sailing around Spain, the Mediterranean, through the Panama Canal, in Tahiti, and along the coast of New England and the Canadian Maritimes.   With other groups, I have sailed with Celebrity, Princess, and Azamara in Alaska, the Caribbean, Argentina and Brazil, and the vineyards of the US west coast.
